About This Website

Annapolis Mobile Notary (annapolismobilenotary.com) is a referral service. When you request an appointment, we connect you with an independent mobile notary or loan signing agent who serves your area. Notarial services are performed by that independent provider, not by this website.

Notaries Do Not Give Legal Advice

A notary public verifies the identity of signers and witnesses signatures. Notaries cannot give legal advice, help you choose or prepare a legal document, or explain its legal effect, unless they are also a licensed attorney acting in that role. If you have questions about what a document means or which document you need, please consult an attorney.

Notary Requirements

Each notarization is performed by a notary public commissioned by the State of Maryland, under Maryland law. The notary may decline a notarization if a signer cannot be properly identified, does not appear to be signing willingly, or if the document or request does not meet legal requirements.

Signers must bring a current, government-issued photo ID, and documents should not be signed before the appointment.

Apostille Services

Apostilles are issued only by the Maryland Secretary of State. Processing times and requirements are set by that office and may change. We cannot guarantee that a foreign country will accept a particular document, or guarantee a specific completion date.

Loan Signings

Loan signing agents present loan documents and notarize signatures. They cannot explain loan terms, rates, or legal obligations. Questions about your loan should go to your lender, title company, or attorney.

Scheduling and Pricing

Appointment times and pricing are confirmed directly between you and the provider before the appointment. Same-day availability is not guaranteed.

Limitation of Liability

This website provides general information and a way to request an appointment. The independent provider is responsible for the services they perform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Annapolis Mobile Notary is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this website or from services provided by an independent provider.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
